Flowers and Crows

Project done for the Feudal Japan: The Shogunate Artstation Challenge
Here is the overall story I've developed around the two environments:

After the Warlord executed entire villages, he finally got the so called Miracle seeds. He decide to plant all of them in his private botanic garden.

The days passed and the plants started growing, but their power was yet to be discovered. They were poisonous plants, but the warlord still wanted to see them growing, since it was such a treasure for him and was scared anyone would steal them. His palace now is just silence, no more workers there, just his body, still sitting in the same place where he used to, but no sight of his soul.
