Carim - Dark souls

I painted Carim; the idea is that there is a giant Cathedral in the middle of the city with the statues of Velka, also known as Caitha. To rapresent the fact that is the God of the tiers i decided to play around the idea that the tears are represented my giant fountains coming from the two main statues of the building, creating pools near the cathedral. She is also known as God of the sins because inside the main building dark magic was highly used and many sinners were sacrificed to forge the rings of protection for the knights. there are many gargoyle sculptures in the city as well as on top of the buildings and on the main stairs of the cathedral. The only ones that could access the Cathedral were the knights,the young keepers,  as well as church members; the poor sinners that crossed the main gate, would never see the light of the sun again.
